What is

Bodywork?

The term actually describes exactly what it entails – working with the body.

It's not about optimizing performance, but rather about allowing yourself to simply be.

My work is based on collaboration. This means that we learn and explore together with your body. Using various forms of touch, breath, movement, and voice, I accompany you through your personal processes. My touch and impulses are invitations designed to support you in consciously sensing yourself and your body. I want to encourage you to stay curious!

My aim is to offer you a safe space to meet yourself, to unfold, and to trust your impulses. This also means that you can speak up or pause at any time if something feels uncomfortable. In this collaborative process, you as the client actively participate in the sessions.

Bodywork can be a wonderful complement to cognitive process work and is an invitation to move from the mind into feeling.

My work includes body-based process facilitation in individual sessions, as well as group workshops to foster somatic awareness and holistic self-exploration.

Here’s how sessions

usually proceed:

Conversation

In the preliminary conversation, we discuss your personal concerns. Why are you here? What is on your mind?

Together, we explore if and where you may already notice physical connections related to your issues and set a goal.

To get an overview, all clients fill out a questionnaire at the beginning of the first session, which we review together during the preliminary conversation.

practice

The practical session itself usually begins and ends lying down. However, you are free and warmly invited to move, change position, or stand up—whatever you need at the moment.

You can think of my touches like flashlights that help you see and feel the areas being touched more clearly. Together, we observe which patterns become noticeable in the body.

What can you perceive? You can learn to improve your access to body awareness in order to better recognize your boundaries and needs, stand up for yourself, and unfold your potential.

I guide you to breathe freely and deeply, to locate and release tension, to notice and allow emotions, and to integrate them physically.

integration

At the end, you have time to rest for a moment and integrate the experience.

Each session concludes with a brief follow-up conversation and possibly exercises for home.
